Tigress, with ragged fur and scars of time, prowling through the winter night. She carries life without a sound, quiet paws upon the ground. And that pierced heart of sorrow leads her to the silent forest. Wounds heal, spring comes pushing through the leaves. She will emerge again, but pain has spun gold into the tiger's eyes, so beware dear antelope, beware.

Finished
Today was a day of much relief, okay much stress aand then much relief. I finally got my NSERC application in! The whole process has involved much running around, many phone calls, emails and missing pieces of class so I can meet with my sponsor. I also got to find out what my project is on. Unfortunately there will be no field work, I mean no field work except for the field school in May. I will be a lab rat instead, I mean not a lab rat(I am not exactly in Biological sciences) but a core girl! I suppose the details will trickle in over the months.

Chocolate
Tonight was awesome. My family had a chocolate taste-testing session. Over the Christmas a family friend living in the States had found, in his opinion the best tasting chocolate. Anyway they sent us up a bag and it is pretty tasty. The brand is called Dove, yes like the soap. This was compared to some dark chocolate from the holidays and some on-sale truffle like chocolates. The Dove was the best but I have to agree with Adam, New Zealand chocolate is very good (better than tonights) which leaves me to the conclusion, chocolate is good. Finding the best will require more tasting as of currently I will need to decide between the New Zealand Cadbury or Belgium Cote d'Or. (from memory I think this one wins or perhaps it just too closely associated with my wonderful travels of France)

The Existential Earth
Darkness falls at dusk and dusk turns to night, blooming patterns of stars upon the sky. The earth sing as it flying though space. Rock and water wrapped in a warmth of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. It follows the laws, tracing the lines of the Mobius strip, but hoping one day to make the leap to the other side. Creation and destruction only separated by time. The rearrangement of atoms into existence.
